Mental Health Act 1983 Training Course

The Mental Health Act is the principal Act governing the treatment of people with mental health problems in England and Wales. The Mental Health Act covers all aspects of compulsory admission and subsequent treatment. Besides these emergency procedures, there are other sections of the Act under which a person can be detained in hospital without their consent.
