Compliance
The focus and purpose of our service is to ensure that our clients’ personnel are fully compliant, or fit to work, in the shortest practicable timeframe.
The Process
The accreditation process is triggered by the client registering a new request on the system with mandatory information and submitting this to the NAB. Once submitted, the new candidate’s case is assigned to our dedicated team of Accreditation Consultants (ACs). One of the team will call the candidate personally to confirm the documentation required from the candidate for completion of accreditation. .
At each stage the AC and specialists will make personal contact with the candidate and either obtain the required documentation proving fitness to work or arrange training, laboratory reports, CRB disclosure etc as appropriate. As each piece of the accreditation jigsaw is put into place, the AC logs this onto CMWF, which in turn automatically sends updates to the client.
NAB ACs are specially trained in moving this process forward in a proactive manner and encouraging the candidate to facilitate the process. Various avenues are open to achieve this, including a welcome letter from NAB detailing the required documentation and explaining why it is required along with telephone, email and text follow up.
Quality Control
Some may think that the thorough and proactive system outlined above would be sufficient to ensure the compliance of a candidate. The NAB, however, does not stop there. Before a file receives final clearance it is meticulously re-checked by the NAB Compliance Department. Every piece of documentation is re-examined, serial numbers, passport and visa numbers cross-checked, documents checked again to verify, for example, that the same date of birth is present on all documents and that if a signature is required it is visible on the scanned documentation and that registration details with professional bodies match the qualification certificates provided.
Only when this final process is complete will the candidate’s file be completed.
