Checks current directorship status, giving company name, industry type and date of appointment. Also checks against a disqualified directors list with Companies House.
Checks directly with the DVLA to establish whether the employee has a valid license, any current endorsements and is not banned from driving. The check will also validate the employee's current address.
Ascertains the reason for a gap in employment. Periods of time abroad verified by passport stamps, work permits, visas etc. Periods of unemployment checked against local job centre records. Where gaps exist in employment and where confirmation cannot be obtained, written statements from personal referees who have first hand knowledge of the applicant, during that period are obtained.
Verifies the existence of the company employed by, job title, dates employed, reason for leaving and any other obtainable information such disciplinary action, number of days sick and overall work performance.
